Watchers are encouraged to submit their own first step, or spread the word of the club, if they don't mind doing either or both. Any help would be most appreciated!Hello there! This is the beginning of an idea that I hope will take off as a great success some day.
But what is "this"?
The idea here is that every artist, no matter how grand they may or may not be right now, had to start out somewhere. Every artist was a beginner at some point. And sometimes it's neat to go back and take a look at just how far these artists have come and compare it to where they are now, and how they've changed and grown.
Also, it could be a very encouraging tool for beginning artists to see- they might be able to see that even their favorite top artists that they look up to started right where they are now, and show that anyone can do it!
The idea:The idea here is, for anyone who is willing, to dig up and find their oldest artwork of whatever medium they work in they still have lying around that they've saved- and I don't necessarily mean oldest in their current gallery, but the oldest they can find that they've ever done while they were drawing- and to submit it here. It will be submitted here, along with a short blurb if they wish that they can write, and I'll provide a link back to their current dA page, so people can see their early works here, and their current works there, and see how far they've come. It might even be a good way to generate traffic to your site!
Who is welcome?Anyone is welcome to join! No matter how long you've been drawing or how much experience you have, you're welcome to join this little thing. Also every style, theme, and type of art and artist is welcome. Anyone can join!
If you're interested in submitting something here, send a note to this gallery with the following:

A link to the artwork- will be re-uploaded in this gallery. Your permission to do such is assumed!
It can come from anywhere- Photobucket, another gallery, your scraps- wherever, just as long as I can save it, and re-upload it here. Once it's up you can ever remove it from the other place if you like!
A short blurb about the work, if you wish. When you made it, how long ago, etc...

Aaaand that should just about do it, so ignore this point!
I'll copy the blurb down in the description and then link to your current gallery.
If you're reading this, I encourage you to submit something here if possible. The more submissions this gallery has, the more fun it will be for everyone to see!
How many times can I submit?I'd prefer it if for now we kept it only to one submission per artist, but this may change. We'll see how it works out- I'm willing to take suggestions!
If you have any other comments or suggestions, or questions, please feel free to let me know at this gallery, or

, my own gallery.

A recent survey stated that the average person's greatest fear is having to give a speech in public. Somehow this ranked even higher than death which was third on the list. So, that means people would rather be the dead guy then the one giving the eulogy?
